    Avoiding migraine – a possible task

    Migraines have long been known to cause more than just a bit of a pain in the head, in fact a real migraine, known as a migraine without aura, can be more than a bit debilitating for up to 72 hours. That’s a long time to be in severe pain, with other symptoms which go alongside the attack – all in all it’s a very unpleasant experience.

A migraine with aura, the lesser kind, can last anything up to an hour, and even the lesser kind is associated with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, blood pressure problems, visual disturbances, and severe pain. This kind of migraine is often a precursor for the worst kind, a migraine without aura, which as we discussed a little earlier, is really no picnic.

    The good news is that there is a lot you can do to not only identify the triggers to your migraines and adapt your life accordingly, but also hopefully cut down on the frequency and intensity of your migraine attacks. The key is to identify the trigger and then cut it out as much as possible, in order to hopefully cut down on the number of attacks and their severity.
